Another One Bites the Dust

As you might have already heard the 13th bank to fail this year is Washington Mutual. The FDIC seized its assets this afternoon and J.P Morgan Chase stepped in and bought the banking assets. This means that most of the branches will remain open and the deposits are secure. So, those of you, like me, who bank with WAMU can be thankful your money is safe, for now. There are, of course, people who will lose jobs because of this, but you can bank on the fact that the fat cats at the top, won't suffer one damn bit!
